Clare O'Dwyer - is a PhD candidate in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Clare's research explores how Asian international students experience a Australian university library, and how Australian university library staff experience Asian international students. Clare is a currently a senior manager of library services and previously managed an Australian University library in Asia. Before these roles, Clare worked as an economist, legal researcher, and business analyst across a variety of industries.

Dr. Ellie Sayyad Abdi - is a Senior Lecturer for Libraries, Archives, Records & Information Science in the iSchool @ School of Media, Creative Arts, and Social Inquiry

Abby is a Specialist Services Librarian in the Public Library Services branch at the State Library of NSW. Abby has worked in public libraries for over 20 years, and previously managed the State Library's Multicultural Bulk Loan Service for eight years.

The Global Perspectives Column
The Journal of Library Administration informs readers on research, current developments and trends related to the leadership and management of libraries. Interested authors are invited to submit proposals and articles to the column editor at pnzomo@illinois.edu. Articles should be at leader 3,000 words and submitted as a Microsoft Word document.
