The ALIA Multicultural e-News is a platform to share news with a Multicultural focus relevant to the Library Information Sector (LIS). It is open to people across LIS to contribute information of relevance. If you have some news to distribute broadly you can contact us via email. If you are interested in contributing an article post to our website you can also reach out via email to discuss ideas

SUBMISSIONS EXTENDED TO 13 OCTOBER: Submit to the Multicultural Framework Review

Submissions have been extended to the public for the Multicultural Framework Review until 13 October 2023. Submissions can now be made via long or short form video and in language.
This is an opportunity to to have your voice and your communities voice heard to make a real impact on the next wave of Australia's institutional, legislative and policy framework.
Submissions, media statements and in language resources are available.

October is Mental Health Month in Australia and we have five weeks of suggestions for everyone to help you focus on your own wellbeing, and ways for you to raise awareness in your everyday conversations.
